Claim for lost sunglasses

I lodged my claim and somehow all the information was lost at your end. I then supplied all the required information manually to the given address. This was sent back to me with an Australian address so I posted it again. I received an email requesting a document that I had already sent. I resent this document. Another email from another person requesting this document that had been sent and a confirmation email saying it had been received. Another email from yet another person wanting this document Finally I replied detailing my experience with numerous people and that I have insured a number of times with 1cover and referred 1 cover to other people but that I would look elsewhere in the future for my travel cover and received immediate payment. As you can understand I was particularly frustrated and unhappy with this process

A good claims experience says it all

We don't like making a claim but sometimes it can happen. The whole experience was hassle free, didn't make us feel bad for doing it, quick and easy. Thank you!

Great to work with

Answered claim straight away. Money was received into my bank account quickly. Great company to deal with, when things happen.

Easy to purchase, covering just what we wanted

Easy online insurance. Can't comment on claims, as not applicable in this instance, but it was reassuring to know that insurance was in place, even for a trip on home soil!

Online was not good, but customer support was okay.

The online claim form didn't work because the required drop down fields wouldn't drop down. I would recommend giving longer time due to waiting on airports responses.

Excellent service from start to Finish

Our trip to Australia, went to help daughter with cancer, instead my Partner (her Mother picked a bug up on the plane). result was 6 days in hospital, 1hour 30 min travel each way. so very taxing.It was the holiday from hell, even with the help of 1cover travel, left us well out of pocket but the help from 1cover was much appreciated

Simple and Easy

So simple to get the quote online and buy before our family trip. Luckily we did not need to make a claim, but if it is anything like the purchasing, I am sure it would have been a very smooth experience. Thanks 1Cover team!

Fantastic to deal with

All communication done by email which suited me being hearing impaired! Wouldn’t hesitate to Recommend as the travel insurers of choice!

Super easy peace of mind

As a first time car renter I freaked when I saw my excess was $4500 so I search and found this 1Cover policy which gave me reduced excess to $250 and a whole heap of other benefits. It cost me an amazing $28!!! Wow and I slept a whole lot better.

Ins cover

I didn't have to use this cover but it was great knowing if anything happened I had the cover in place

Didn't make a claim but their response to my email enquiring about possible claim was fast and very supportive, telling me what i need to do to claim for my lost , fortunately damage to our asset was minor and we didn't have to use our insurance cover

Whilst post claim was very quick and efficient, the total experience did not rate as high due to online user experience in trying to start claim process.

Easy peasy

Still waiting on my partners insurance to refund his lift passes - got mine within 48 hours of making the claim 5 weeks ago. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I took this insurance out for a short NZ trip - process was easy and efficient and as I had no need to claim I am a happy customer

EAsy to get and clear cover

Had to contact the emergency number as I booked my insurance for the departure date (forgetting that I arrive home on another day) The operator wasn't able to confirm my cover through their system but did make a note to cover me should something happen. Also advised someone from sales would contact me, but nothing yet.

Not Needed But Always Good to Know it’s There

The title says it all. Good to know 1Cover was right behind me all the way even though I didn’t have to make a claim

Process was easy online, I didn't have to claim on this policy but have known other people that have claimed without any issues.
