Great first travel insurance experience

No complaints as all, they were easy to talk to over the phone and email and the cover was just as promised ( I had to claim due to an unexpected operation prior to travel). Blessed and thankful for 1Cover's help!

Very helpful with a query and so affordable.

Just prior to departure I faced the possibility of a serious health diagnosis. I contacted 1 Cover and was assured that if a definite diagnosis came through it would go under "disclosed conditions" and all would be covered. Fortunately, all was clear but the response from your company was so courteous and reassuring. Thank you!

Relieved traveller.

Travelled to Vietnam and when you realised what could happen to you, it made you have great confidence that you were well protected if any problems arose. Just a shame that price escalates once you are 80. Will curb our travels.

Cover and Claim experience

Have always used 1Cover for all my extensive overseas travel.
Great cover for all regions and a prompt response when I have issues. On the 2 times I have had claims it has been very fair and prompt settlement. Gladly continue being a customer.

Always use for every overseas trip as having good experience when I have needed to claim on one experience.

3 years of trips

Each year I go through the comparison process taking a couple of hours to confirm 1cover offers most for least dollar wise. Each year they do. Helpful people and understandable policy.

First class service.

Quick and efficient service both in confirming cover and settling my claim. Certainly a much better experience than that received from other providers.

Quality Cover

I have insured many times with 1Cover and have had only 1 claim occasioned by delay in a flight. I was treated fairly and with courtesy and accordingly will always take insurance with 1Cover in the future.

Loved 1cover in the past, but not so much now.

In the past 1Cover has been great and helped with a medical in the USA about 2 years ago; however my recent experience with 1Cover sadly was not the same. Lost a brand new phone on holiday and was on hold for at least 10mins which is quite stressful in a foreign country with limited phone use as your own phone was missing or stolen. Having no help over the phone I had to hang up and write a desperate email as my flight home was in approximately 10hours... no reply or word from 1Cover at all. Quite disappointed that the first point of contact was only this morning (2days since we have arrived home from our trip). Service is terrible. I hate to make a fuss but was left stranded overseas. Not reccomended for anyone especially since we paid three people at premium rate (should of just got basic cover as we received less than basic service).

prompt refund after flight disruption

1Cover responded straight away when I told them that my travel plans were in tatters after the leak in the Marsden Point fuel pipe.
They promptly refunded the extra costs for train tickets.

It was a relief to find 1Cover!

I arranged travel insurance with 1Cover over the telephone because I had enquiries that were beyond the scope of the website. I wanted cover for two people over 70 for a journey to New Zealand from U.K. and also for the return journey (NZ to U.K.) but not for the period in between. This has proved very difficult to find but 1Cover were able to provide me with exactly the cover that I wanted. It was a very satisfactory experience. The only reason I have not given a full score under “Value for money” is because I have not needed to make a claim and so cannot evaluate that part of the service. Insurance is unusual in that it is something that we buy in the hope that we never have to use it and I hope that there is never a need for me to rate the true “Value for money” aspect of 1Cover. However, I shall continue to buy my travel insurance from this company in the future.

Good Value Insurance

1Cover offers good value comprehensive travel insurance - I have been using it for years and never bother chasing other quotes. The only time I need to make a claim, which was a small medical claim, the 1Cover people were very helpful and the claim was paid promptly. It has an easy to use web site. Keep an eye out for special deals.

Just two weeks before departure I rang 1COVER and was happy with the advice and assistance offered in a clear and professional manner. I obtained my insurance policy on line. A simple process. Will use 1COVER in the future.

Good helpful service by phone and on-line

We received efficient service in taking up the policy for our recent travel, and were pleased to receive an emailed offer of an extension of the policy, should we need to extend our stay away. We did not need this, but it is good that 1Cover offers this opportunity while people may be needing to alter their return date.

Easy claim process

I am very pleased with the claim process, it's quick and easy. I submitted all documents on the website and a few days later got an email that my claim has been approved.
