Comedy Competition 2019 Winners

 

 

The results are in!  A big congratulations to the winners of The 1Thing Comedy Competition for 2019.

 

First Place - Grand Prize

Taking out the first place and $10,000 in cash were New Zealand Comedy Duo, Laura Daniel and Joseph Moore for “2 Many Beds/2Many Mains”. These guys are seriously talented and used their prize money to travel and perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

 

Runner Up

Second place and $2,000 cash went to Ellie Squire for her super creative entry “The Bus Creep”. 

 

Office Choice

The gong for the 1Cover office choice award (and $3000) went to Abba Abbouci for his “No Budget Airline” video. 

 

This was the second year of our comedy competition, which saw 135 video entries from around Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to everyone who entered. You can check out all the winning videos here.
