1Cover policies purchased after 19th November 2021 offer overseas medical coverage related to Coronavirus (COVID-19). 1Cover policies purchased prior to 19th November 2021 have an epidemic / pandemic general exclusion which applies to all sections of the policy, however we encourage you to contact our Emergency Assistance Team immediately.
Am I covered for cancellation or travel changes due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
With the ongoing changes to travel in response to Covid-19 you should be aware that there is a risk that your plans may be impacted by things such as government quarantine requirements or restrictions to travel. Unfortunately the 1Cover insurance policy does not cover any loss you incur due to changes or cancellation of your travel plans as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Am I covered for any additional travel costs incurred resulting from the pandemic?
The 1Cover insurance policy does not provide cover for additional expenses which are related in any way to the pandemic, this includes but is not limited to PCR/ Rapid Antigen testing, quarantine requirements, isolation or border changes.
