If you miss your flight because of natural disasters or severe weather, you might have a provision to claim, if you can show reasonable reasons for not being able to use your airline credit. You’ll also need to obtain a written cancellation of your credit note from your airline.
The natural disaster or severe weather event must have begun after the insurance policy was issued.
