  • Domestic medical expenses are excluded, as well as a list of general exclusions that are listed in the Policy Wording. • Does Domestic travel insurance cover adventure activities?
  • 1Cover provides coverage for 100+ activities. While any medical costs arising from domestic activities can’t be covered, you may be covered if you need to forfeit pre-paid fees or deposits if you're unable to travel. The reason we can’t cover medical costs is that we can't take the place of domestic health insurance. There is legislation in place to prevent this.

  • Is There An Excess On My Domestic Travel Insurance?
  • There is a $200 excess that is applicable per event per claim.

  • Am I Covered if i’m taking a domestic cruise?

  • Do I Still Need Rental Vehicle Insurance?
  • Please be aware the rental vehicle excess benefit does not take the place of Rental Vehicle insurance. You have provision to claim for a reimbursement of up to $5,000 (unless you have opted to increase your excess) for any excess or deductible which you become legally liable to pay under your Rental Vehicle hiring agreement, if the Rental Vehicle is involved in an accident while you are driving, or is damaged or stolen while in your custody.
